Is that what you mean? Or are you asking whether I have a 'MS Office 365 Business Account.' I have a 'Personal Account or perhaps it's called a 'Home Account,' I don't remember. Office 2019 is a one-time purchase that comes with classic apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for PC or Mac, and does not include any of the services that come with an Office 365 subscription. I very often save documents as Word 97-2003 documents, instead of Word 2016 documents, so members of my ministry can read and/or print out documents I send them. We all have different versions of Word, and my version is usually the most up-to-date version since I now have MS Office 365 subscription. I did as you suggested - and found that 'Always create backup copy' is not checked under 'Save' in File>Options>Advanced. Only 'Allow background saves' is checked. Until the last update of MS Word 365 I always got only one copy of each document I worked on. It's something that happened in the update, I think. On it's own, Word never saves 2 copies of the file in DOC or DOCX format. You have to work hard to get it to do that when you really want it to. Do the 2 copies of the file appear in the same folder? If they do they cannot have exactly the same name or they have different file extensions. In Explorer, do you have the option turned on to show file extensions? If not, TURN IT ON. In Windows Explorer > View tab > Show/Hide group make sure there is a check mark beside 'File name Extensions'. I won't go into how not good it is to continue running Office 2003 on computers connected to the internet. Instead, as a helpful tip you may want to suggest to your readers that they install the 'Office 2007 Compatibility Pack'.
